Cheverly Mayor Mike Callahan has asked local residents and businesses for feedback.  Please read the summary of the town meeting that took place on January 12th by clicking on the link below.   We encourage our members to share their opinions with the town of Cheverly as they prepare a single package to be sent to the County Council and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Dear Members:

OPEN MEETING

The semi annual open meeting of the Board of Directors of the Cheverly Swim and Racquet Club will take place at the Cheverly Community Center on Thursday December 1, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. All members are encouraged to attend. The 2017 Draft Budget will be circulated and discussed. The 2017 budget will be approved by the Board at its January meeting.

2017 DUES

THANK YOU to all of our members for their continued support in paying your dues on a timely basis. There are huge upfront costs to get the pool open which must be paid well in advance of the time that your dues must be paid to the pool which is before May 1. Members who pay their dues late cause financial hardship for the pool.

Please note that late fees for 2017 will continue at $100…  To Read more click here.

Labor Day Weekend

On Saturday, Sept. 3rd at 5pm we will have a FREE Aqua Zumba session in the main pool. Then on Monday we have lots of family friendly activities to enjoy: see the flyer below. All pool members and their guests are invited to come enjoy the free Aqua Zumba session and fabulous Labor Day Fun. Hope to see you there!

Member Self Service is Here

Have you ever wanted to pay for guests at the front desk by saying, “Put it on my tab” and sauntering into the pool like you own the place? Have you ever needed cash or a credit card for something at the pool and thought, “Can’t they just bill me, I’m a member after all?” Well those days are over. All you have to do is sign up for our Member Self Service system and provide your credit card or bank account information.  This will allow us to bill you for dues and services automatically. No more writing checks, no more needing cash or a credit card or a gift card at the front desk. Hopefully, next year the snack bar will also be “hooked up” to this system and you’ll be able to pay for food by saying, “Put it on my tab, please.”

February 2016 Newsletter

February 21, 2016
Dear Members,
The 2016 swim season will be here before you know it. With the bitter cold temperatures and the blizzard this winter, I know we are all looking forward to warmer weather. It could be 30 degrees or 65 when you receive this, but we know that winter will be over soon.
Dues Increase for 2016 Operating Season
The Board of Directors voted to increase dues this year by $50 to $550. The Board did not take this decision lightly and the issue was discussed at several meetings before voting to raise dues. For the past ten years, the Board has kept dues at $500 per membership. The Board’s primary goal has been to keep dues at a level without compromising our financial responsibilities. Salary increases…   to continue reading click here
