Cheverly Swim and Racquet Club is searching for a few responsible individuals to join our team as Front Desk, Tennis or Swim Coach staff. This is seasonal – summer – employment from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We offer part-time or full-time positions with flexible schedules. Assistant Swim Coach(es) 

As a swim coach, you will work with the Head Swim Coach to assist with coaching the Cheverly Dolphins swim team and/or provide swim instructions in our Guppies and Minnows group lessons. 

Front Desk Staff

As part of the front desk team, you would be the first point of contact for members entering the pool. Some of the responsibilities include: checking members and guests into the pool, answering any general questions related to pool and loaning out various sports equipment to members.

The work is mostly sedentary, the shifts are approximately 5 hours and there is typically only one person working the front desk person at a time. Training is provided; therefore, no experience is necessary. Candidates must be 14 or older.

Snack Bar Staff

As part of the snack bar team, you will work all aspects of a snack bar. You may be assigned to take orders, cook food on the grill and in a fryer, and assemble meals. You will also be required to keep the work area and eating area clean.  This is a fast paced cooking environment, which requires standing for the whole shift. 

The shifts are approximately 5 hours. Training is provided; therefore, no experience is necessary. Candidates must be 14 or older.

Tennis Staff 

As part of the tennis staff team, you will help maintain the CSRC top-notch tennis courts, assist the Tennis Pro with tennis group lessons and tournaments. Candidates must be 14 years old or older and experienced tennis players.   

Water Staff

Lighthouse Pool Management (LPM) hires and manages the water operations staff including Managers, Operators, and Lifeguards. Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are required. If you do not have the proper certification, Lighthouse Pools will discuss how you can get the proper training.
